Game Design for Color Vision Deficiency
A solution for designing for protan and deutan players


Thesis Statement
With approximately one out of twelve people having a form of red or green color vision deficiency, it is imperative to use a set of tools and guidelines at both ends of the production pipeline of video games to improve the accessibility and experience for duetan and protan players; to achieve this, a color vision deficiency simulator and corrective post process, also known as daltonization, will be developed for use within the Unreal game engine.
